Declan Foster is the Founder of SKAILA AI, an AI Transformation Intelligence Platform that helps organisations understand, guide and govern the human side of AI transformation. Drawing on more than 25 years' experience in organisational transformation, project delivery and change management, Declan founded SKAILA AI to address one of the biggest challenges facing organisations today: ensuring people adopt AI with confidence, trust and purpose—not simply deploying the technology.

An internationally recognised expert in artificial intelligence and organisational change, Declan is consistently ranked among the Top 10 Global Thought Leaders in Project Management by Thinkers360 and was awarded the Change Leader Award 2025 by the Change Management Institute for his contribution to advancing AI in the profession. 

He is also the co-author of the award-winning, best-selling book Humology: How to Put Humans Back at the Heart of Technology, which explores how organisations can embrace emerging technologies while keeping people at the centre of transformation.

Declan's work combines practical leadership experience with academic expertise in artificial intelligence, including studies at MIT and Oxford University. He is the creator of the AI Change Diamond™ and SAFE-AI Pathway™, proprietary frameworks that underpin the SKAILA AI platform and help organisations better understand AI initiatives, guide employee adoption and build responsible AI capability. 

Through consulting, research and international speaking engagements, he works with leaders around the world to ensure AI transformation delivers lasting business value through people, not just technology.
